Water Carry Me

water carry me
let the rivers of life
flow to my peace
for I got no other desire
if not for love

let the flesh water
from the sky
bless my hot heat
cos my feet's are dry
from the dust of the noon
I need my feet wash
so let the flesh clean
water wash my feet new

let it rain again
let the rain bless the works
of my hands
cos my hands are dirty
oh let it rain again
let the rain water my seed
to grow
for so long I have
been planting

let me float on the rivers
of redemption
it carries a vibe
of freedom
it washes my dark ages
to a new light
so let it
water carry me
