Watching Nature Create

The "thread" of a spider’s web
Formed the shape of a "heart"
Hanging delicately in the sunlight
In "silence", watched the spinning of time
Creating a masterpiece I can’t define
I sit "breathless", not to blow it apart
Watching "birds" diving inches from it
Landing on the soft "green" grass
Choosing to disturb the dew instead
Flying away with dampened feet
Not a strand of the "hair" on my head,
Is like the strands holding it together
Leaving me with "fathomless" thoughts
As to when it first started in the past
These "intricate" "beautiful" creations,
That hang on earth in different ways
Hidden by our choices in the "dark"
       Remaining to be seen
