Watching Halloween

Walking through the streets I see The families all decked out. It’s Halloween and that is what The fuss is all about. The kids, of course, in costumes, But the grown-ups are, as well And later there’s a dog parade; This date sure casts a spell. At this point in my life, I watch, Enjoying all the style, Remembering my costume days, Which brings a wistful smile.

I love my costume days! I bet you did too. If I wore a suit with a tail though, I was careful to carry it.

And now it is gone - for another year. Too bad it didn't take COVID-19 with it! Aloha!

I love this Ilene. It makes me remember Halloween when my kids were growing up. One year I noticed the dog was watching and looking like she wanted to be included so I put a brightly colored sweater on her and tied and kerchief around her head so she could look like a little girl and let her go with the kids trick or treating. She was the hit of evening at evey house. She seemed so happy. Good Stuff here. God Bless, JB

Ilene...I, too, simply watch and enjoy, especially the little ones who are so proud of themselves and haven't the faintest idea what it is all about. Happy faces delighted with a simple treat. Makes my week!

The children in costume are such a joy to watch but I also love to see the young at heart wearing a costume and having fun. A cheery poem for Halloween. Have a great night Ilene. Blessings xxoo
