This reminds me of my own two four-legged friends who sense spirit and bark ferociously, getting louder and louder. While I stare outside, seeing nothing, but sensing something.

They do that. My Jose was particularly good at it. We often remarked that he would bark at a shadow!

They are wonderful animals to love and admire. They are as you would say, " A True Friend." Your Poem tells a wonderful story of loyalty, love and protection, from Man's best friend. It reminded me of all my dogs in the past and current. They are all special in their own way, and they all had one thing in common, and that is their affection towards you. Thank you so much, Michael, for your kind and encouraging words. My dogs have meant so much to me over the past years of my life, through childhood onward. We always had a dog or two. My rehab is going well, although it is very tiring. By Friday evening I was exhausted, but I slept very good last night!

Thanks, Mike. You've made my day! I was sitting here feeling sorry for myself because I have not been doing well in stupid contests, which are, after all, only the opinion of one person, and then you (one person) write me a wonderful comment about my doggie poem. Lifted my spirit! Made my Saturday! Thanks a bushel, Mike.
