Watching and Waiting

"Watching and Waiting" six sets of watchful eyes peer impishly surveying each move my footprint takes they try to appear waiting quite sheepishly as I stroll into the kitchen, the carpeting earthquakes. twenty-four feet hurriedly stand to touch the ground stalking my every step with rapid heartbeats their "big brother" prancing escalates to astound as I reach into the pantry for delicious treats. swift jumping and cajoling, strong serenade begins overpowered, I submit to demands and requests a brood of hungry canines and felines always wins how does one say "no" to rambunctious animal pets? *For Black Eyed Susan's Biig Brother Watching You and Why Contest..

Oh Linda-Marie, aren't pets the greatest? I have a gorgeous Yorkie that I love with all my heart...he is still a puppy...my pupper snapper! I love how you wrote this poem with the mystery of who those eyes belong to and what they are up to! Quite the awesome write my friend, awesome! Great Work!!

our pets are so fun..but they do run the show sometimes ..especially treats time.. and it feels like "big brother" OVERTAKES THE HOUSEHOLD.. ENJOY POETS WITH LUV..
