Wasn'T Ment To Be
We can be sitting right next to each other
But we couldn't be any farther apart
I'm not talking about our physical location
Rather the distance of our hearts
We started so strong
But we're drifting away
And I pray to God I'll never see the day
Because I've had enough relationships
that have ended this way
No one realy gets hurt
But you end up feeling like a jerk
When you see her face after you start to flirt
Its like its over but its not at the same time
And both of you get embarassedwhen you see each other
And there is always a part of you thats says she's mine
The answer to the question "what happened" is hard to find
As you search hard for the answer inside your mind
But you wont find it because you are still to blind
Life goes on as you start to see
That maybe it just wasn't ever ment to be
