I've seen photographs of the cherry blossoms... I can see this same view in your haiku, Robert! So your Blue didn't make it either. Better luck next contest for both of us:) Carol

sounds lovely, I wouldn't mind seeing some blossoms right about now, snow covered mountain just isn't doing it for me anymore

Hey, Robert, my FIRST haiku ever starts out just like yours. I still remember from when I wrote it in high school: Pink cherry blossoms/cast shimmering reflections/ on seas of Japan. Seeing this just triggered that memory!
