Warmth of the sun

Let’s get closer to the sun 
Let our souls melt,
become undone 
In solar winds 
Be blown away 

Let’s get closer to the sun 
Escape this bond 
You and me 
Twinkle photons 
All night long 

Let’s spend our days 
In golden hues 
Casting shadows 
Just like the moon 

Just you and me 
Let’s do it soon 
Let’s disappear 
To outer space 
Let’s get closer 
To the sun 

Strip our bodies 
Leave us blind 
feel your passion 
Next to mine 
We don’t need senses 
Just our love 
As we get 
Closer to the sun 

As we speed up off the ground 
Through the clouds the haze 
We can look down 
On all the noise 
We’ve left behind 
As we get closer to the sun 

Out past Jupiter and Mars 
Spinning wildly 
In our arms 
Warmed by our truth 
That all that matters
 me and you 
As we get 
Closer to the sun 

As we get closer to
The sun 
Realisation comes as one
We can just carry on 
So let’s get closer to the sun
