Warming Embrace

I stayed in bed and waited for the sun to show it's face I looked out the window and saw dark clouds had taken it's place It's hard to leave my cozy bed when the sun doesn't show Then all day long I will miss that cheery vibrant glow That molten ball of fire way out there in space I don't like to be without your sweet warming embrace.

It was one of those mornings for me, kind of gloomy and a good day to stay in bed but alas, I had to go to work. Yuck. :) This was fun and wonderfully written my friend. Regardless of what waits outside my window, I know I will always find a bright sunny day in your poetry.

I looked for an entry from you, but sadly ... nothing :( I'll keep checking each time I stop in :)

Good morning Chris, sorry your day started gloomy. (and that you had to work. yuck. lol) Thank you for the nice words on my poem although I'm not so sure you will always find a sunny day in my work. (It seems the ones that are not sunny or happy, don't seem to go over to well) I hope the rest of your day turns sunny :)
