War Within
What is life all about?
I hear many different answers
shouting at me.
Drowning in a
sea of confusion,
I try shouting back but my
voice is lost.
I breathe as if I’m
a vacuum.
Sucking all the screams up
as if they are dirt
Silence….
I speak.
“Jesus” is all I say.
My voice is finally heard.
