War Never Changes

War never changes
Because war never changes the heart
War only kills and rips us apart
From loved ones, from fellow countrymen
We may never see them again
War never changes
Because war never changes the mind
War only lasts years and years
And plays at our deepest fears
From evil foreigners, from evil cultures
We may never be rid of them
And war will never change
Because war never changes humanity
War only reduces the population in mindless insanity
Like small children, like small communities
When the bombs finally drop
We may never see them again
But war...war never changes
