War In a View

I don't like to talk about politics
And defiantly not religion
But listen world this makes us sick
Love and peace is what should be given

Politicians make the decision
To do what they think is right
Send forces off to faraway lands
Give mandates for them to fight

People sometimes are not nice
In the countries I have been
But maybe they should've thought twice
Could they cope with what I've seen

Some say this is for the great of god
But this is not always the case
Religious belief taken into account
That country is their place

I know we do a damn fine job
Many lives have been saved
But really world is it right
Too many early graves

The government of the day
Need to listen too the people
Political views and religious ways
Cause death and visits to the steeple
