War At Night

I would have loved the Sun but chose the Moon I used to run free with the coming Monsoon But I stopped when I see it's not worth it To step on the hot ground with my bare feet. I could have worn a pair of comfy slippers Then continue to play with the leaves that withered But I didn't coz I thought the Sun is just warm And it wouldn't cause me burns nor harm. I should have changed the way I think And kept in mind my choices are links Like doing connect-the-dots with stars If I chose the Sun would my nights be at war?
