War
Innocence lost in the tumult of war,
A stark reminder of what we ignore.
A world divided by lines we draw,
Innocent souls left broken and raw.
The horrors of conflict, the pain and the fear,
Innocent lives shattered, shedding countless tears.
War's cruel grip on humanity's soul,
Leaves scars on the wounded, an endless toll.
But change can begin with a choice we make,
To mend the world for humanity's sake.
We must reject the path of endless hate,
And find a way to negotiate.
Let compassion guide our every deed,
Plant seeds of peace to fulfill our need.
Embrace our differences, bridge the divide,
In unity, our shared dreams will reside.
For the innocence lost, we must atone,
With empathy, a brighter future is sown.
In the light of love, we all must stand,
To ensure peace blooms across the land.
The world can change if we choose to see,
That war's devastation should never be.
Innocent lives deserve our protection,
A world of harmony, our shared direction.
