Wars have been since man arrived. Power is a game. The next person who wants power paints the person in power as ugly and unethical. It's going on as I write. The hungry powered ones are out for blood at all costs. Careers destroyed, lies told and sold in books. Peace? Well, are we at war with other nations? Not right now. Not to disagree, just to elaborate/amplify a bit: Those evil people occupy those powerful positions thanks to all of the ____ people who support them or tolerate them or won't rebel against them. I would argue, for example, that Putin is a reflection of the people of Russia. Perhaps not on the surface, but deep down Russians (I've taught over 6,000) love and crave authoritarians and authoritarianism. Food for thought, anyway... ~ gw

Hi Gershon, Americans seem to want total control too. It's sad...they want to be told how to think, what's proper to say, etc. what to eat,when to bend over , etc,-))) am sure you disagree, that's Ok, I love you unconditionally, Your, Panagiota.
