Wanting

Sometimes I think it's impossible ....like trying to weld a feather to mercury. With infinite desire I search the heavens, hoping I won't lose the drive that I once grasped. The drive I found when I first met her. When I first discovered true beauty. Is that presence lost forever? That feeling inside I had ...that wonderment that made me an old soul ...like a young boy with wide eyes ....discovering the brilliance of the night sky. Pondering so much for the first time. Being here ...alone. Encumbered by emptiness. I am left wanting. Needing reassurance that my life isn't just a lost song ....falling on indifferent ears. The stars are bright tonight ....and yet it seems, ....their shimmer escapes me. And now I'm here sitting on the gate of this old pick up, staring at the timeless beauty above. No longer needing to know the answers to the universe. I found my answers in love, I just need her to share it with. -James Kelley 2010© Read more: http://www.myspace.com/jamesk_87/blog#ixzz11amipLO8
