wanna

I wanna write about the way her breath smells in the morning

I wanna write about how her hair clogs the shower drain

I wanna write about the taste of her brownies when I burn my mouth devouring them

I wanna write about the goosebumps I get on my arm when she touches the back of my neck

I wanna write about her cute feet and how I wanna throw away all her socks

I wanna watch her walk away so I can soak in the anticipation of her return

I wanna take my tongue between her legs and taste the flavor she makes when she’s pleased

I wanna dry the sweat off my hands from holding hers for too long

I wanna tell her I’ll keep her dry when life rains, warm when life’s cold, and that she’ll never have to wonder if she knows what it’s like to be loved

I wanna find her
