Wanderer
I gaze in wonder
at your beauty.
Imprisoned in
your glass cage.
Lifeless now,
your corpse on show
for coffee breakers
to idle away a few moments.
Only I understand
how you soared over oceans
you solitary, wandering bird.
My albatross.
