Wanderer

We step out. Begin our walk into the road to get closer to the unknown, we follow trails that have been left at times aloft and at times lost. Still guided by loving hands as if pushed by a whistling wind fully unaware that we have arrived, hesitantly, our feet stand within its gate. we have arrived we’re home at last.

I love this poem. I was engaged from the beginning of the poem until the end. She is a poet she's not an amateur and her poetry speaks to me the reader. I have arrived and I have changed in the past year or two in a good way. I have wandered but I didn't get lost in the chaos or the abyss. This is an uplifting poem and an affirming poem. The reader can feel the emotion. I like the part about the unknown the unchartered places and arriving home like to your home or the homepage of Poetry soup.
