Walls Could Talk
It came out of no where the weeping and pain
The words full of sorrow .
That were so hard to explain
They filled my ears with sadness
Oh the story’s that they told
When these walls started to talk
My heart crumbled at what it heard
My body began to weep .
Stop please I began to scream
I can’t take all this brokenness it’s sadness is unseen
My soul is already tormented
My heart is already in pierces as it is
Can’t you see I’m damaged
Can’t you see I won’t mend
But the walls steadily stayed weeping
The sorrows of the untold
Things my eyes have never seen
Things history books have never told
They unloaded there passions
And cried out the storm
When the walls began to talk
I cringed with every word
Suddenly the silence began
as if it all was just a dream
The walls where silent
But my heart still heard there screams
Oh, the pain these walls have endured
And the things that they have seen
The sorrow that has been spoken and left out to say the least .
If only the walls could talk
The things that they would say
Would they tell of your broken hearted
Your damaged soul
Ur unseen pain
If only the walls could talk
