Wall of Glass

Longing to thrust my hand
Through this wall of glass that divides us,
I pull away; afraid the shards
Will pierce my armor.

My brother thrusted his hand through the glass of a slot machine in Atlantic City years ago. He was lucky they didn't press criminal charges against him. Your work has rather few words, but good descriptive ones.

I really love poetry like this: succinct and yet profound!
