Walking With the Rain and Sun

it’s raining now that I want to walk the shore
why could it not wait just a little bit more,
must knew that I had plans to go out today
it will be miserable now and just about all day.

the sun could care less, it won’t burn out
it will come back and scorch us no doubt
but sometimes the sun shines while it still rains
which helps to ease my mind and loosen those chains

while strolling and splashing along the shoreline
I begin to understand what nature has in mine
to make me learn just how to take a bend
misery won’t last, maybe a rainbow will be at the end.
