Walking Towards Tomorrow

Walking Towards Tomorrow

Yesterday I did not walk away
Today I walk in a better way

Yesterday I pondered the many mysteries of the spirit.
Today I ponder the many mysteries of the physical realm.

Yesterday in anger I vowed to avenge the wrongs.
Today in patience I promised to let go.

Yesterday I spoke my truths loudly.
Today I listen quietly and feel deeply.

Yesterday I rushed to get things done.
Today I pace to make sure things are done in a good way.

Yesterday I reacted quickly without thought.
Today I thought quickly to prevent reaction.

Yesterday I prayed for an easy path.
Today I prayed for those with difficult paths.

Yesterday was a lesson and a time of growth.
Today was a healing and rebirth.
