Walking Towards the Pier

walking towards the pier
even the sea gulls take a few moments to take it all in
i join them and we become enthralled in conversations
they tell me about their travails
i joke with them about silly stuff like nutrition
we all forget we are sitting still
i guess all of our whole selves go to sleep
when i wake up, the gulls have moved on
i get up and continue my walk towards the pier
in the horizon i see a lighthouse that i did not notice before
the waves are crashing in whispers in my ear....seeming to say hello to me
i say hello back in code so people do not think i am crazy
then again, i notice that they are doing it too and are feeling the same
within this vibe it does not matter about anything....we all just carelessly take aim
