Walking Together In Love
Walking together in love by God’s compassion
We can share victoriously our assured salvation
While thanking the Lord for His loving action
That freed our souls from sin’s penalty and hell’s damnation.
Walking together in truth by God’s holiness-fire
We can strive toward righteousness and for His favour aspire
While honouring the Lord for teaching us what His standards require
For our testimony to shine against worldliness’ mire.
Walking together in kindness by God’s graciousness
We can continue humbly victorious in our prayer-earnestness
While trusting the Lord Who listens to our cry midst hopelessness
Answering our pleas by His generosity’s bountifulness.
Walking together in gentleness by God’s mercy
We can be strengthened in our service-persistency
While cleaving to the Lord Who upholds us through His divine efficiency
Enabling our faith in optimizing its useful potency.
Walking together in wisdom by God’s promises’ exposure
We can decide prudently in our choice-measure
While learning from the Lord Who enriches with heavenly treasure
To direct our priorities toward great commission’s fulfillment pleasure.
Walking together in sharing God’s blessing
We can remain grateful in our labour-pressing
While abiding in the Lord Who pours His provisions always sufficing
To meet our needs with miracles undoubtedly surprising.
Walking together in joy by God’s leadership
We can become sweeter in our brother-sister relationship
While esteeming the Lord Who encloses us around His fellowship
Kindling our spirits toward constant genuine revival-worship.
*Ephesians 5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
