"To get back to shore, swin against the strong currents of life"--quote by poet
Cursed with misadventure
and persisting hardship,
he still walks the razor's edge
And he walks through
shards of glass
with both feet bleeding.
He's stubbed his toe
on one too many rocks
making his way
through the bumpy pathway
of life; despite his struggles,
he remains resolute in spirit.
He encounters mountains;
many stand towering over him,
but he never turns back
or gets around them.
He keeps on climbing
to the summit.
Life hasn't been kind.
It has thrown him curveballs,
it has beaten him down
and tested his resolve,
yet he smiles
through it all.
