Walking Hand In Hand

Two shadows go hand in hand
but when they come to the point
where the way splits
one leads to eternity
and other to tomorrow,
one must let the other’s hand go and walk alone.

No matter how ardently you may beg or pray
your wish won’t be granted
because the split becomes
the beginning of another way.

Although the origin of the two
that is connected with blood was different
because they lived in separate worlds,
yet it became a new beginning
when they met as a man and a woman,

it’s too cruel to say
that you must walk separate ways at the split,
but it’s the end of the nature’s course for the mortal, human life.

Thanks for sharing this. May I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." The Lord's blessings be with you.
