Walking Dead
When the lights go off
I just wanna hide my face
When the lights are on
I just wanna bury myself
Least they see my sorrows
The streak of tears
The agony written on my face
Walking but not feeling my legs
Its like walking dead
When I try to lift my head
They scare me back to my hole
No mercy I cry injustice
He stole my cow
But the judge ruled on his favor
He robed my house
And got away with it
His son married my daughter
Without my consent
And got away with it
No Mercy I cry injustice
Its like walking dead
I watched as poverty struck
My efforts drained to nothing
My years of hardworking
Reduced to ashes
I got up ready to avenge
And take back all that was mine
But misfortune gave me no chance
I lifted my sword and slashed his head
He who stole my cow
And down went all the heads
Of those who did me wrong
I sought justice for myself
Then they were all after me
The families sought vengeance too
And I had no choice
But to run for my dear life
Now I'm a Wonderer
Heading to no specific destination
Its like walking dead
