Walkin' the Dog

I walked my dog down by the junction
When he had a canine malfunction
He jumped on a snake
A bite he did take
And now he has reptile dysfunction.

Does your dog sliver o'er the pavement - Does he now hiss from the abasement - Does he flick his tongue - Is it extra long - Do folk stare at him in amazement.……. Great Limerick Robert ~ Belle

Aha! I love limericks, and this one is insanely clever. Reminds me (only in the sense of nice wordplay) when Moneypenny told James Bond he was a "cunning linguist." Reptile dysfunction. I'm going to remember that for a long while!

Hi Susan. Thank you for your complimentary words. I write limericks a LOT. I'm very happy the poem made an impression upon you. I like all of the Bond dialogue. You needed to pay attention in those movies. LOL ZIM

This is too funny, and one of the best last lines in a limerick I've ever seen.
