Walk On the Moon
Moonlight spills into my window,
Coloring gray my room.
Happy am I with the glory of God
Shown in the stars.
Darkness runs away from light rays
As an owl hoots on a branch.
Wild animals prowl throughout the land.
Long ago, a man did walk on our moon.
That is now history.
What if I could walk on the moon, too,
Not just sit in my room?
That is a brilliant thought!
