WALK ON

I wonder how different our world would be if throughout our history we saw everyone as our sister and our brother…. If we realized how much we have to offer and could learn from one another. For instance…instead of hating the people who inhabited this land before us annihilating their people and their chiefs…. What if we had befriended them and shared our customs and beliefs? Would we have more patience with each other? Would we believe more in lending anyone a helping hand? Would we understand the land does not belong to us…that we belong to the land? Would we believe there is a balance in nature? How we need to work together to balance Life, Fire, Water Earth and Sky… from the moment we are born…until the moment when we die. Would we see death not as the end but as a beginning an awakening to a new dawn? And through our tears would a smile bloom…knowing our loved one is walking on? Knowing in our hearts and minds…we are not losing them for evermore we’re are lovingly handing them off to those who’ve walked on before And wouldn’t it help keep our smile blooming when we think of them every now and then…. knowing, once they have walked on, will be seeing them again? Believing all our loved ones who have walked on… will be gathered at the awakening the awakening of our new dawn… to welcome us… to take our hand… and to guide us…as we walk on.
