Walk of Shame

We left the club with thoughts the same
We'll have one night together and never talk again
Please tell me your thoughts have changed
Cause now I'd rather get to know you than go home and do the walk of shame

We both wanted it, Look at how quickly our clothes hit the ground
Touched you all over and kissed you down
A connection like this doesn't happen often
So I'm wondering if I should risk it now

We had a great night and maybe that's all it was meant to be
But there's something telling me, you're meant for me
I'm not going to lie, I've had a lot of one night stands
But I really want to have you in my life plans

I want to learn about your past, and embrace your scars
Wipe your tears away, and chase your heart
The connection was too good to only let it last for one night
I want to get to know you on a deeper level, and learn about your life

We were both hurt, and last night we decided to show each other
That was the easy part, but now I want us to get to know each other
Maybe I should stick to our script and walk out the door
I know it was just a one night stand, but I think we should have something more

We left the club with thoughts the same
We'll have one night together and never talk again
Please tell me your thoughts have changed
Cause now I'd rather get to know you than go home and do the walk of shame
