Waking Inside Up

Fuzzy, whispered words
    spread silent fog
and cotton softness

across the landscape of my soul

I, attentive, listen
   to the fulsome silence,

spread my self
    into the fog,

every soular cell in me
   baptized

Whispered, fuzzy words
            dissolve
into music and melody –

a choir of angels –

a deeply familiar,
                                               distant tune

In exultation,
I sing along
the soundtrack of my life

Mozart would be pleased

what the voices tell me...
