Wake Up World

At nighttime's end when I am awake
please give me a no-pains day today,
a no pills and no ills day I pray.

For you and for all mankind I pray.
When World finally decides to awake
let there be no violence today,

no drones and no early deaths today;
no mourning, no suffering I pray.
Let ugly war sleep and peace awake.

Awake today and always, I pray.
