Notes About The Poem

Wake up Earth

Wake up Earth,
the wind has changed,
the clouds lost their direction,
the sun is scorching,
the rain makes
its appearance as an artist.

Wake up Earth,
the green is becoming brown,
the landscapes are getting dress
with the deserts' sand,
the fires are painting
forests with ashes,
the birds fly lost without
a rhythm to follow.

Wake up Earth,
the sea animals
are committing suicide
for no apparent reason.
Travelling to nowhere,
just to be death
on the fantasy beaches
for blind people to rejoice.

Wake up people,
don't let the others to solve
what you should do,
politicians fill their pockets
while they share
"Seducing talks"
with no facts to satisfied.
Meanwhile, the whole world
is an irremediable disaster
without control.

Wake up Earth,
don't sleep too long,
your wonderland
will be your hell
before you can get dressed on.

Loved your dig against politicians. Here we are under a corrupt government and we pray for a change. Your poem touches so many important aspects of this world. Rain is necessary. Glad you get some occasionally. Lovely poem, my friend. Blessings.

My dear Victor, nowadays it looks like the Governments are corrupted everywhere. Here is the same story. We nearly have more politicians than people, and all are the same. This world is running in a wrong direction. Thank you very much for your lovely words. I hope you have a great week. Walk on the shadow. Here, it also starts to be hot these days. Blessings my friend.!
