Wake Up

Wake up and face the reality, You are guilty of failing the children in the society. We are not free to run or play, Bullets and abuse we face every day. Men and women of tomorrow we will be, But death and misery seem to be our destiny. Take the shackles off my mind and set me free, Give the youth a chance to be all that they can be. It’s not enough to just shed a tear, We are tired of living in fear. The walls are closing in and we are almost out of time, Wake up my sister, wake up my mother, wake up from your silent time.
