Waiting For Eternal Sleep

WAITING FOR ETERNAL SLEEP The journey began with sunrise promise On the garden path of beautiful life, The flowers bloomed, destiny in disguise Brushed calm colors on the drab times of strife. The path at edge of horizon unclear I traveled for long, exhausted and thirsty, The music of the setting sun I hear My heart plays the tune of melancholy. Daylight would disappear for night would fall Your stretched arms my sleepy eyes could see. I’m tired, it’s time you hear my final call, Come, to the abode of bliss you take me.
