Waiting For Another Day.

the rain falling down in sheets,
its so beautiful to see.
even though my skin is frozen,
my hair tangled in messy waves,
i cant deny the beauty.
because we're still young,
its alright to be reckless.
because we are invincible.
for now.
because common sense doesnt always prevail,
thats why we thank kind strangers,
and because we know how to smile just right,
thats why they want to help.
and we all know we cant stay out forever,
that we have to go home,
to warm beds and pajamas,
homework and sniffles.
thats why i'm only a bit upset.
thats why i cant wait for another day.
