Waiting For a Sign: Aromantic
I don’t want it anymore,
Take your flesh, all your love and close the door
For time is wasted and wasting and waiting on me to love.
But I don’t want love.
I don’t see it far ahead,
Take your shoes, pack your bags and then you’re set
For I am wasted, wasting away and waiting on time to tell.
But I can’t tell.
I don’t feel a thing these days,
Take your eyes, beautiful mind, and tie your laces
For life is wasted and wasting, beyond waiting for me to show.
But I can’t show.
I don’t smile anymore,
Take your touch, both your lips, and break the floor
For here we’re wasted, wasting away, beyond waiting-
Beyond tragically waiting-
Waiting...
