After reading your poem, it is fun to imagine whose voices were nearbye. A chipmunk chewing, a bird cooing. This is a pretty poem and I thought it was clever. I loved to ponder your last line.

Charlie, the last line conjures so much imagery for me that it deserves an expanded poem all of its own. Here's to a great '24. Cheers - Gary

Love the image Charlie. The frogs are well camouflaged green on green. Happy New year to you. Tom

Beautiful haiku, i love how you’ve written this in such a descriptive manner dear charles. Especially “ sun touched lilies” wow! And also “ voices from the pond” how evocative. And soulful, pleasure reading this, sending you light always
