Waiting

One day I'll see the difference between you an me,
But still I'll be likely to see,
All the love that once ran free,
An the time you let me be.

....

Today is the day where I stand my ground,
Won't let you take me,
As strong against your temptation arises,
I kept holding on an saying NO!...

I watch him leave my sight,
Now there's one down,
I'm still fighting an holding on
To the only man I can't let go.
Do I wait
Or is it enough of waiting for me?
...
Lord show me you way
How much is too much to wait?

Nice evocative write, engages the reader with its simple format, only negative if it is one is the use of "an" if it's to be an abbreviate, use "n" instead , it feels better , but all in all a good little write,...well done
