Waiting

I'm told to shoot for the stars but I'm scared of heights so I'll stay right here and wait because the scientist tell me the sun is going swallow us up and the other stars keep moving away. I'm told to look for what is out there but my eyes don't work so well so I think I'll stay right here and wait because I've got my glasses and the Internet to look up all the things I need to see. I'm told that I can be anything but I'm not good with change so I'll stay right here and wait because then you can always find me and I can't let you down. I am told many things and I know what they all mean. I'm suppose to move forward but now I'm a ghost so I'll stay right here and wait because where can I go if I'm already gone. I'm told that someone loves me so I'll stay right here and wait because if I don't put down this knife I'll be gone and I can wait for when my time comes.
