Waiting

She goes out for lunch To her favourite place She orders her meal She knows it will take time To receive here meal So with a writing pad A pen she has handy She will compose a poem This passes time waiting She begins to write Its a perfect way To wait for her meal She does this often To wait for the meal A chicken pot pie No time lost she writes She created a poem While she was waiting For her chicken pot pie She wrote a poem

Writing while you wait. Not my way really. I find it hard to write unless I have a flash of the muse and I must have a computer open in front of me. The worst is when some idea comes to me when I'm going to sleep. It will be gone by the morrow. Keep writing. Lovely poem.
