Wait Watching
Deeping Sad Blue Pools of Light
Could they have looked on Caesar
From their serene and lofty Dales
And left him to his Fate?
So patiently to wait forever
In their sweetly scented Woods
Just to appease Her?
And plead for chances to redeem
Their wanton act of War
By silent means to watch our world to seem
To slowly perish in the ever coming night
What was it for?
The generations they have lost
What has it cost?
To let all men destroy as one
As if taking were a Duty
Druidic Justice yet prevails
The Woods are now long gone
With Beauty
