Wait Until Dark
Wait until Dark
My womans gone down town
Crossed over the tracks
In the arms of Bourbon Jack
I aint taking her back
Theres no room in my game
I dont feel no shame
Il wait until dark.
Shes lost to me now
On the bad side of town
With a back alley Tomcat
Treats her Man like a clown
Theres no room in my heart
For a Jack Daniels tart
Il wait until dark.
I'll go get my gun
I'll load it for two
There'll be a hole in Her heart
The night breeze will blow through
She'll drop and bleed in the sand
But wont understand
Shes two timed Her Man
Im on the run, they got prints off the gun
Just near the state line Ive run out of time
Marshals on my game I done feel no pain
But a burn in my Heart
And its gotten so dark
A burn in my heart
Its just gotten dark.
