Notes About The Poem

Wacky Wedding

We giggled on Sue's wedding day
She walked with her dog down the aisle!
Fresh flower bouquet's - so passé
We giggled on Sues's wedding day
Sue held a quirky food bouquet!
Her canine bridesmaid made us smile
We giggled on Sue's wedding day
she walked with her dog down the aisle!

Congrats on your win, Jan. I doubt I’d marry someone for bacon... I’d probably wag my tail though... I love bacon! Well done. Terry

This was cute, Jan. My dad had a dog that he took with him everywhere. He even brought him with him on my wedding day! Fortunately he didn't bring him into the chapel. Congrats on your win in my contest! Blessings, Kim M

My husband's cousin carried her small dog down the aisle on her wedding day, like a bouquet. No problems, no mishaps, it meant a lot to here and that's what counts. Congratulations on a unique triolet

What a lovely bridesmaid Sue had on her wedding day, her faithful friend, though some would say she was barking mad. A superb Triolet for the contest… Belle :-) xx

Creative one. I bet that was an interesting wedding. That bouquet was a banquet for the animals. Sara

Its so funny Sara the original draft was about a white wedding but I wanted to make it a little quirky and found out about bacon bouquets and the poem totally changed and i liked the idea of the dog lol:-) hugs jan xx

This is adorable Jan, especially when you think of how many love their animals more than people. This poem should do well in the contest. I hope you and your husband are doing well? Blessings, Connie
