Notes About The Poem

Voyages of Promise

They are  living daydreams,
dressed in clouds of  light

brought into being
from stardust
a lost race

 Eternal, childlike

No -one knows the star
Or, from how far they travelled

To pause at the edge
of myth

To fling bright peonies into
gray oceans

to turn hopeless allegory’s
into voyages of promise

Congratulations on your contest win, SuZ. The poem was, "Far Out". Seriously, it was a beautiful poem of wonderment. The intrigue of the unknown woven into the beauty of the universe and the mysteries of myth. An Enjoyable read, thanks for sharing your poetry with us. Smiles ~ Blessings, Bill
