Probably going to punt it
Just go back to rhyme
Work on my assonance
Somewhere down the line

This is fun Jeff. So many times I leave the skeleton of a poem because I just can't make it "fit" and then months, or years later, it comes to me. LOL

Lol sounds like me Jeff. Accept it is mostly rhyme for me. Love your many forms. I wish I was like you to learn them all. You Milton, Andrea, to name a few are amazing to read the many forms. Another one is Bryan Strand. You experience all that Poetry is. I probably will never experience that, I respect your passion for all forms and mastering them is another chapter in commenting...Like you have mastered...

Michael, I think maybe I don't have enough to say, so the forms give me 100 different ways to say the same thing, lol. And I'm a mile wide and an inch deep, I think you could spend a lifetime with two or three and not master them. Sometimes I wonder, WHY, why did you feel you needed to create that one??? And for some, English is probably not our friend. But it is a word puzzle, and I like those!

Yes, sheepish here, but I've really been struggling with trying to use assonance on a larger piece in a form that does not want rhyme. Sometimes it seems harder to find a near match, which is absurd, because assonance opens up a much larger set of words. I guess my brain is wired for rhyme :-)
