Vow

On nights like this, when the moon is full,
When the youth is wild, party and droll,
I spend my time on my windows ledge,
Can't help but feel on edge.

I'm a young adult now and so much has changed,
My love and I are now estranged.
My boyfriend and I have been together for two years,
But I wonder about my prince as my wedding day nears.

It's only natural for us to get married,
And for me to get those old feelings buried.
He's also been with this other girl for years now,
But I'll never forget him, this is my vow.

Happy ending? Is this what they meant?
After all this time we together spent?
I am to be married to a man I like but will never love,
This can only be stopped by the One above!

Hello Pussy Cat, There will not be a happy ending to marry a man you do not love. Enjoy your day my friend. So nice to meet you. Enjoy your day.
