Voices of Spring

VOICES OF SPRING


                        by nature driven
           some hidden wild bird finds voice
                         at crack of dawn


            day by day watching
                     watching tiny buds unfold
                                     to full blown image – spring


                          nature paints spring
                    she work in color and form
                         overlapping the frame


                   sunny sky
                                   cerulean blue
                                                      sunny mood

Spring is a time of awakening, and like the birds, we all return to life at the first sign of the season... A very nice poem, Daver. I really enjoyed it's lovely imagery!

Yes - in winter the cardinal stands out against the snow. We have a pair in our back yard tree. Love, daver

Our entire back yard is an animal refuge, with thick ground cover. Lots of small trees make it look like an opening in the forest. Thanks for the visit. Love ya, daver
